PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moisture conditioning building material having moisture absorbing/releasing property enough to control humidity in a room and excellent in shape stability during moisture absorbing/releasing and excellent in strength as a building material and a composition for moisture conditioning building material for manufacturing the moisture conditioning building material.SOLUTION: A composition for moisture conditioning building material contains (A) a water insoluble polymer and (B) a water soluble polymer, the (A) water insoluble polymer has at least one kind selected from a group consisting of a group represented by -SO(M)and a group represented by -COO(M), the (B) water soluble polymer has at least one kind of group selected from a group consisting of a group represented by -SO(M)and a group represented by -COO(M), where n represents an integer of 1 to 2 and Mrepresents a hydrogen ion, a monovalent metal ion, a bivalent metal or an onium ion.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】室内の湿度を制御するための十分な吸放湿特性を有すると共に、吸放湿時における形状安定性に優れ、建材としての強度に優れた調湿建材を提供する。また、その調湿建材を作製するための調湿建材用組成物を提供する。【解決手段】本発明に係る調湿建材用組成物は、(A)非水溶性重合体と(B)水溶性重合体とを含有し、前記(A)非水溶性重合体は−SO3−(Mn+)1/nで表される基および−COO−(Mn+)1/nで表される基よりなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1種の基を有し、前記(B)水溶性重合体は−SO3−(Mn+)1/nで表される基および−COO−(Mn+)1/nで表される基よりなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1種の基(ここで、nは1〜2の整数であり、Mn+は、水素イオン、一価の金属イオン、二価の金属イオン、またはオニウムイオンを表す)を有することを特徴とする。【選択図】なし
