PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus which can remotely limit operations of an authentication target device after executing authentication processing in accordance with an authentication request from the authentication target device.SOLUTION: In an information processing system, a control unit 110 of a portable terminal comprises: an authentication processing unit which acquires an authentication request from the other device and executes authentication processing with the other device in response to the authentication request; and a notification generation unit which generates information for reporting result of the authentication processing and information for limiting use of the other device when the authentication processing unit executes authentication processing with the other device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
