PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a wire type window regulator capable of fixing a guide rail and a wire guide member on a door panel of a vehicle.SOLUTION: A wire type window regulator fixed on a door panel of a vehicle includes: a guide rail for liftably guiding a slider base on which window glass is fixed; a wire drive mechanism for lifting/lowering the slider base along the guide rail via a drive wire; and a wire guide member provided on at least one of an upper end and lower end of the guide rail, the wire guide member having the drive wire therearound to change a routing direction of the drive wire. The wire guide member includes an insertion part into which the one end of the guide rail is inserted; the insertion part includes a plurality of ribs extending in the insertion direction of the guide rail, the ribs being in linear contact with the inserted guide rail.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
