PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bridge member which has excellent corrosion resistance, adhesion property, dimensional accuracy, and alkali resistance, and also a method for manufacturing a bridge member.SOLUTION: A rubber support as a bridge member is composed of an upper attachment plate attached on the side of a bridge girder, a lower attachment plate attached on the side of a pier, and a rubber laminated body arranged between the upper attachment plate and the lower attachment plate. The upper attachment plate and the lower attachment plate are made of an anticorrosive metal fitting 50. The anticorrosive metal fitting 50 has a metal protective layer 54 containing zinc based metal or aluminum based metal on a surface of a steel material 52, and a composite protective layer 56 containing an organic-inorganic composite material, whose inorganic component is silicon, on a surface of the metal protective layer 54.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
