The invention relates to the field of buildings, and particularly discloses a bridge member and a manufacturing method thereof. The manufacturing method comprises the following steps of preparing a concrete mixture, building a steel reinforcement framework, and pouring the concrete mixture into the steel reinforcement framework layer by layer, wherein the feeding thickness of each layer is 500-1000 mm; after pouring of each layer is finished, a 70-type tamping rod is adopted for vibrating for 10-15 s firstly, then a 50-type tamping rod is adopted for continuously vibrating for 10-15 s, the insertion depth is 50-100 mm when the concrete enters the lower layer, and after vibrating of the topmost layer is finished, preformed concrete is prepared; and after the preformed concrete is cured, a finished bridge member is prepared. The manufacturing method has the advantages that the vibrating efficiency is improved, discharge of air in concrete is promoted, the compactness and strength of the concrete is improved, and therefore the strength of the bridge member is improved.
