    PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improvement method of foundation less in elution of pollutant such as hexavalent chromium from a foundation improvement body.SOLUTION: There is provided an improvement method of foundation including mixing a hydraulic powder and one or more kinds of compound selected from hydroxymethanesulfonic acid or a salt thereof, and hydroxymethanesulfinic acid or a salt thereof (hereafter, Compound (a)) with soil, in which the hydraulic powder is mixed with a mass ratio of hydraulic powder/soil of 0.01 to 1.0, and the Compound (a) is mixed at 0.01 mass% to 2.0 mass% based on the hydraulic powder.SELECTED DRAWING: None

    【課題】地盤改良体からの六価クロムなどの環境汚染物質の溶出が少ない地盤の改良方法を提供する。【解決手段】土壌に、水硬性粉体と、ヒドロキシメタンスルホン酸又はその塩及びヒドロキシメタンスルフィン酸又はその塩から選ばれる１種以上の化合物〔以下、化合物（ａ）という〕とを混合する地盤の改良工法であって、水硬性粉体を、水硬性粉体／土壌の質量比が０．０１以上１．０以下で混合し、化合物（ａ）を、水硬性粉体に対して０．０１質量％以上２．０質量％以下で混合する、地盤の改良工法。【選択図】なし
