PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improvement method of foundation less in elution of pollutant such as hexavalent chromium from a foundation improvement body.SOLUTION: There is provided an improvement method of foundation including mixing a hydraulic powder and one or more kinds of compound selected from hydroxymethanesulfonic acid or a salt thereof, and hydroxymethanesulfinic acid or a salt thereof (hereafter, Compound (a)) with soil, in which the hydraulic powder is mixed with a mass ratio of hydraulic powder/soil of 0.01 to 1.0, and the Compound (a) is mixed at 0.01 mass% to 2.0 mass% based on the hydraulic powder.SELECTED DRAWING: None
