To provide an air-conditioning system which comprises an air conditioner arranged at a position where air circulation performance can be improved in upper and lower floors, and provide a building and an air conditioning method.SOLUTION: An air-conditioning system is used for a building 1 comprises: a lower floor space and an upper floor space positioned in a vertical direction with at least one floor part 11 held therebetween; and two communication passages 4, 5 continuing the lower floor space and upper floor space in a horizontal direction, and extending from tiers in the lower floor space to tiers in the upper floor space. The air-conditioning system comprises: a first air conditioner 6 installed in the lower floor space or at positions of the two communication passage 4, 5, in plan view, in the tiers in the lower floor space; and a second air conditioner 7 installed in the upper floor space or the positions of the communication passage 4, 5 in the upper floor space in a plane view in the tiers of the upper floor space.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
