To suppress an influence to a manufacturing process of a reinforcement, and to save power for a reinforcement arrangement inspection.SOLUTION: In a reinforcement 1, a thermal contraction film 12 is wound to an external peripheral face so that a character or a figure appears on the external peripheral face, and the character or the figure displays the identification information of the reinforcement. The reinforcement 1 is manufactured by winding the thermal contraction film 12 to the external peripheral face of the reinforcement, heating and contracting the thermal contraction film 12 which is wound to the reinforcement 1 so that the character or the figure displaying the identification information of the reinforcement 1 appears on the external peripheral face of the reinforcement 1, and making the film tightly adhere to the external peripheral face of the reinforcement 1. A reinforcement arrangement inspection method includes: a process for installing the reinforcement 1 in a prescribed position; a process for photographing the reinforcement 1 including the character or the figure which is displayed on the external peripheral face; a process for reading the identification information of the reinforcement from the photographed character or the figure; and a process for collating the read identification information with the identification information of the reinforcement which should be installed in the prescribed position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
