To provide a reinforcement in which various kinds of reinforcement sorts can be identified and which is suitable for identification of reinforcement sorts by image data.SOLUTION: In a reinforcement 1, a part of appearance of an outer peripheral surface is made different from that of the remaining part so that a pattern appears on the outer peripheral surface. The pattern exhibits an identification information of the reinforcement 1. The pattern includes a plurality of reference belt-like portions 4 provided at a regular pattern with an interval in an axial direction X of the reinforcement 1 and extending in parallel to a radial direction Y of the reinforcement 1. A pair of reference belt-like portions 4 which are adjacent to each other determine a range where the identification information is exhibited.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】多種多様な鉄筋種別の識別が可能であり、かつ画像データによる鉄筋種別の識別に適した鉄筋を提供する。【解決手段】鉄筋１は、外周面に図形が現れるように、外周面の外観の一部が残部と異ならされており、当該図形が鉄筋１の識別情報を表示している。当該図形は、鉄筋１の軸方向Ｘに間隔をあけて規則的なパターンで設けられ鉄筋１の径方向Ｙと平行に延びる複数の基準帯状部４を有し、互いに隣接する一対の基準帯状部４が識別情報の表示される範囲を定めている。【選択図】図１
