To provide a movable partition device whose maintenance is easy.SOLUTION: A movable partition device 10 partitions a space using: a plurality of partition panels 1, 1, ..., 1A movable along an induction passage 3; a side part closing member 20 for closing a gap between a movement regulation end S and the plurality of partition panels 1, 1, ..., 1A connected in series; and a side part advancing/backing mechanism 25 capable of advancing/backing the side part closing member 20 in a serial connection direction. The partition panel 1A includes: a panel member 4; and a pair of panel support bodies 7, 7A that support the panel member 4 and extend in a longitudinal direction. The partition panel 1A comprises a side part closing unit 2 into which the side part advancing/backing mechanism 25 and the side part closing member 20 are integrated.
