To improve the security and reduce the power consumption.SOLUTION: A wrist watch 100 can switch between a first state and a second state, the first state being a state in which authentication information is received from a smartphone 10 and the second state being a state in which authentication information is not received from the smartphone 10 and the power consumption is smaller than in the first state. The wrist watch 100 performs a short-distance wireless communication with an NFC settlement terminal 20. The wrist watch 100 activates a predetermined function by using a short-distance wireless communication and shifts to the second state when authentication based on the authentication information received from the smartphone 10 in the first state has been done successful.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
