To provide a pile extraction device and an extraction method that can extract an existing pile while rotating the same.SOLUTION: A pile extraction device 1 includes: a first member 2 that is in a cylindrical form with an inner diameter corresponding to the outer diameter of an existing pile 100; a second member 3 that can be inserted onto the outer peripheral side of the first member 2 and has protrusions 32 that radially protrude outside; and a chain-like or rope-like third member 4, one end of which is linked to the outer periphery of the first member 2 and the other end of which is linked to the second member 3. The protrusions 32 protrude in a manner of sloping to the radial direction of the second member 3 when viewed from the axial direction of the second member 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
