To provide a fitting type roof material which can surely discharge rainwater, which inevitably infiltrates from a joint, to outdoor without leaking the rainwater to indoor, and a joint structure of a roof material.SOLUTION: There are provided a fitting type roof material in which an idle space is provided between side ends of one roof material body and the other roof material body that are adjacently joined to each other by fitting a lower seam and an upper seam provided on side edge parts of the roof material bodies, hidden gutters are arranged on side edges of long sides of the roof material bodies, and as the hidden gutters, a skin material constituting a roof material body outer surface on a side where the lower seam is formed integrally with a cross-sectional groove shape formed by extending the roof material body side end face.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】継ぎ目から不可避に浸入する雨水を屋内へ漏水させることなく、確実に屋外に排水できるようにしてなる嵌合式屋根材、および屋根材の接合構造を提案する。【解決手段】一方の屋根材本体とこれに隣接させてつなぎ合わせる他方の屋根材本体とをそれぞれの側縁部に設けられている下ハゼおよび上ハゼを嵌合させることによって隣接配置し接合してなる屋根材本体の側端部どうしの間に遊休空間を設け、その遊休空間内に、該屋根材本体の長辺の側縁に沿って隠し樋を配置してなると共に、その隠し樋は前記下ハゼを形造る側の屋根材本体外表面を構成している外皮材を、該屋根材本体側端面を延長して、断面溝形に一体成形したものを用いる嵌合式屋根材とその接合構造。【選択図】図１
