To provide a fitting type roof material capable of quickly discharging rainwater infiltrated from a joint part of a roof material from an eaves.SOLUTION: A lower joint, which is fitted to an upper joint on a short edge of another roof material located adjacent to the upstream side, has a folded-back piece that catches rainwater as well as sandwiches the lower joint in front and back sides thereof. The folded-back piece is connected to an edge of the folded-back piece and has a guide piece which guides rainwater caught by the folded-back piece to the outer side of a lower seam.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】屋根材のつなぎ合わせ部分から浸入した雨水を速やかに軒先から排出できる嵌合式屋根材を提案する。【解決手段】水上側に隣接配置する他の屋根材の短尺縁部に設けられた上継手に嵌合する下継手に、該下継手をその表裏において挟み込むとともに浸入雨水を受ける二つ折りの折り返し片を設ける。折り返し片は、該折り返し片の幅方向の端部につながり、該折り返し片にて受けた浸入雨水を、該下ハゼの外方側へ誘導する誘導片を有するものとする。【選択図】 図１
