To provide a steel member comprising proper fastening force of an anti-corrosion film.SOLUTION: A steel member (14) provided at a boundary of a front face side and a rear face side of a water area structure or a land area structure comprises: an anti-corrosion film (16) arranged in a predetermined range of a front face and/or a rear face of the steel member; and an edge portion fastening material (18) for fastening the anti-corrosion film to the steel member. Preferably, the edge portion fastening material is fixed to the steel member so as to respectively extend at a place separated by a predetermined distance inwardly from a left and right end faces (16a) of the anti-corrosion film, continuously or non-continuously in a vertical direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
