To provide a joint plate support structure and a joint device for a floor, capable of preventing rain water or the like from falling into a joint even when an amount of rainfall is large.SOLUTION: A joint plate support structure for supporting a joint plate for closing a joint between one skeleton and another skeleton provided with the joint interposed between the one skeleton and the other skeleton is composed of: a first joint plate support part formed on the one skeleton to support one end side of the joint plate; a second joint plate support part formed on the other skeleton to support the other end side of the joint plate slidably and movably in a lateral direction; a rain water receiving part in a recess shape formed on the second joint plate support part; a joint plate support member that is provided at the rain water receiving part, is capable of supporting the joint plate, and allows rain water in the rain water receiving part to pass through; and water discharge means that communicates with the rain water receiving part to discharge rain water received by the rain water receiving part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
