To provide a door panel manufacturing method and a door panel manufacturing device which are capable of efficiently manufacturing a door panel.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a door panel 10 in which a facing material 16 is provided on both sides in the door thickness direction of a panel core material 11 that includes vertical bars 12 on both sides in the door width direction and a plurality of horizontal rails 14 that span between these vertical bars, the method including the steps of: fabricating a plurality of horizontal bar parts 13 by joining to each of the plurality of the horizontal bars a predetermined bar material 15 according to the type of the door panel and the position where each horizontal bar is installed; and fabricating the panel core material by joining these horizontal bar parts and the vertical bars on both sides.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
