VEHICLE SIDE DOOR HINGE STRUCTURE
To efficiently reinforce the hinges against the twisting force acting in the direction of twisting the side door in the front view applied from the side door to the upper and lower hinges when the side door is opened or closed.SOLUTION: In a vehicle side door hinge structure, upper and lower hinges 11U and 11 L, in a pair, are vertically separated from each other, and each attached to a vehicle body side 1 and a base end of a side door 3, and each comprise: a vehicle body side hinge bracket 12 having a vehicle body side attachment portion 12d attached to the vehicle body 1 side; a door side hinge bracket 15 having a door side attachment portion 15d attached to the side door 3 side; and a hinge pin 18 rotatably supporting the hinge brackets 12, 15. A dimension L12 between the vehicle body side attachment portion 12d and a shaft support portion 19A is formed to be longer than a dimension L15 between the door side attachment portion 15d and the shaft support portion 19A where the hinge pin 18 is located. The upper and lower hinges 11U and 11L are connected to each other through portions each located between the vehicle body side attachment portion 12d and the shaft support portion 19A in each vehicle body side hinge bracket 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
【課題】サイドドア開閉時に該サイドドアから上下のヒンジに、サイドドアを正面視で捩る方向に作用する捩れ力に対して効率的にヒンジを補強すること。【解決手段】車体側1とサイドドア3の基端とに上下に離間して取り付けられる上下一対のヒンジ11U,11Lは何れも、車体側1に取り付けられる車体側取付け部12dを有する車体側ヒンジブラケット12と、サイドドア3の側に取り付けられるドア側取付け部15dを有するドア側ヒンジブラケット15と、これら12,15を回動可能に軸支するヒンジピン18と、を備え、ドア側取付け部15dと、ヒンジピン18が位置する軸支部19Aとの間の寸法L15に対し、車体側取付け部12dと軸支部19Aとの間の寸法L12が長くなるように形成され、上下のヒンジ11U,11L同士を、車体側ヒンジブラケット12における、車体側取付け部12dと軸支部19Aとの間の部位において夫々連結した。【選択図】図4
