To provide an inverted siphon structure of a vent pipe capable of efficiently discharging contaminants that adhere on or accumulate in the vent pipe only with force of daily downward flow of sewage.SOLUTION: A vent pipe in an upward flow section comprises first and second vent pipes in the upward flow section having a same gradient, the second vent pipe in the upward flow section being disposed along an inner or outer wall of the first vent pipe in the upward flow section and having a smaller pipe diameter than the first vent pipe in the upward flow section, and the vent pipe in the upward flow section being provided with removal means for precipitating contaminants.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
