To provide a scouring suppression method and a scouring suppression sheet capable of effectively suppressing scouring of a water bottom ground into which piles are installed with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A scouring suppression sheet 1 having water permeability is laid on a water bottom ground G, and, when a pile 30 is made to penetrate an installation target range of the scouring suppression sheet 1 to be installed in the water bottom ground G, the installation target range of the scouring suppression sheet 1 is tensioned. Or, the scouring suppression sheet 1 including a water permeable sheet member 2 having water permeability and an elongation suppression sheet member 3 integrally stacked on an installation target range of the water permeable sheet member 2 which the pile 30 is made to penetrate to be installed is laid on the water bottom ground G, and the pile 30 is made to penetrate the installation target range of the water permeable sheet member 2 and the elongation suppression sheet member 3 to be installed in the water bottom ground G.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

【課題】簡素な構成でありながら、杭を打設した水底地盤の洗掘を効果的に抑制できる洗掘抑制方法および洗掘抑制シートを提供する。【解決手段】水底地盤Ｇ上に透水性を有する洗掘抑制シート１を敷設し、杭３０を洗掘抑制シート１の打設目標範囲に貫通させて水底地盤Ｇに打設する際に、洗掘抑制シート１の打設目標範囲を緊張した状態にする。或いは、透水性を有する透水性シート部材２と、杭３０を貫通させて打設する透水性シート部材２の打設目標範囲に重ねて一体化された伸び抑制シート部材３とを有する洗掘抑制シート１を水底地盤Ｇ上に敷設し、杭３０を透水性シート部材２の打設目標範囲および伸び抑制シート部材３に貫通させて水底地盤Ｇに打設する。【選択図】図２
