To provide a scouring prevention body having a simple structure and a scouring prevention method allowing scouring of the water bottom ground in which piles are installed to be effectively prevented.SOLUTION: A scouring prevention method is to circularly fit a body part 2 in a porous structure having permeability configuring a scouring prevention body 1 and preventing sediment of the water bottom ground G from passing therethrough on a root part of a pile 30 on the water bottom ground G to prevent generation of horseshoe-shaped vortex and rear vortex at the root part of the pile 30 and scattering the sediment on the water bottom.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】簡素な構成でありながら、杭が打設された水底地盤の洗掘を効果的に抑制できる洗掘抑制体および洗掘抑制方法を提供する。【解決手段】洗掘抑制体１を構成する透水性を有し、かつ、水底地盤Ｇの土砂が通り抜けることを抑制する多孔構造である本体部２を、水底地盤Ｇ上の杭３０の根元部分に環状に外嵌めすることで、杭３０の根元部分における馬蹄形渦および後流渦の発生と水底土砂の飛散を抑制する。【選択図】図２
