WASTE TREATMENT APPARATUS AND WASTE TREATMENT METHOD
To provide a waste treatment apparatus and a waste treatment method which can efficiently take out heat energy from chlorine-containing wastes, thereby capable of reducing fuel cost and facility cost and capable of widening a utilization range of the chlorine-containing wastes.SOLUTION: The waste treatment apparatus comprises: sorting means that sorts chlorine-containing wastes into chlorine-containing materials (A) containing polypropylene and chlorine-containing materials (B) which are smaller in mass of chlorine than the chlorine-containing materials (A); carbonization-gasification means that subjects the sorted chlorine-containing materials (A) to carbonization gasification at 500°C or higher to obtain gasified gas containing hydrogen chloride and gasified residues; burning means that burns the gasified gas containing the hydrogen chloride to obtain burn gas; chlorine-capturing/collecting means that captures chlorine in the hydrogen chloride contained in the burnt gas to collect the chlorine as chloride or hydrochloric acid; and burnt gas-detoxifying means that removes hazardous materials from the burnt gas passing through the chlorine capturing/collecting means.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】塩素含有廃棄物から効率よく熱エネルギーを取り出し、燃料負担及び設備負担を軽減することができ、また塩素含有廃棄物の活用範囲を広げることができる廃棄物処理装置及び廃棄物処理方法を提供する。【解決手段】塩素を含む混合廃棄物を、ポリプロピレンを含む塩素含有物(A)と、前記塩素含有物(A)よりも塩素質量が少ない塩素含有物(B)とに選別する選別手段と、選別された塩素含有物(A)を500℃以上で乾留ガス化し、塩化水素を含むガス化ガスとガス化残渣を得る乾留ガス化手段と、前記塩化水素を含むガス化ガスを燃焼し、燃焼ガスを得る燃焼手段と、前記燃焼ガスに含まれる塩化水素中の塩素を捕捉し、塩化物または塩酸として回収する塩素捕捉回収手段と、前記塩素捕捉回収手段を通過した燃焼ガスから有害物質を除去する燃焼ガス無害化手段とを含む廃棄物処理装置。【選択図】なし
