To provide an additive for a cationic asphalt emulsion which retains fluidity after addition to a cationic asphalt emulsion and can suppress asphalt adhesion after construction.SOLUTION: There is provided an additive for a cationic asphalt emulsion which contain polymer particles, wherein the polymer particles contain rubber and have a poly(alkylene glycol) chain. The degree of polymerization of the poly(alkylene glycol) chain may be 2 to 15. The poly(alkylene glycol) chain may be a structure contained in a (meth)acrylic monomer unit having the poly(alkylene glycol) chain.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】カチオン系アスファルト乳剤への添加後に流動性を保持し、かつ施工後のアスファルト付着を抑制可能な、カチオン系アスファルト乳剤用添加剤の提供。【解決手段】カチオン系アスファルト乳剤用添加剤は、重合体粒子を含み、前記重合体粒子は、ゴムを含み、かつ、（ポリ）アルキレングリコール鎖を有する。前記（ポリ）アルキレングリコール鎖の重合度は、２～１５であってよい。前記（ポリ）アルキレングリコール鎖は、前記（ポリ）アルキレングリコール鎖を有する（メタ）アクリル系単量体単位に含まれる構造であってよい。【選択図】なし
