ADDITIVE FOR CATIONIC ASPHALT EMULSION
To provide an additive for a cationic asphalt emulsion which can suppress asphalt adhesion after construction by addition into a cationic asphalt emulsion.SOLUTION: There is provided an additive for a cationic asphalt emulsion which contains polymer particles including a core layer and a shell layer located outside the core layer. The core layer includes rubber. The shell layer is formed from a non-cross-linked polymer having a glass transition temperature of -25°C or more. The non-cross-linked polymer may contain a methacrylic acid alkyl ester and/or an aromatic vinyl-based monomer as a constituent monomer. The total amount of the methacrylic acid alkyl ester and the aromatic vinyl-based monomer of the total monomer constituting the non-cross-linked polymer may be 30 wt.% or more. The non-cross-linked polymer may contain a (meth)acrylic monomer having a (poly)alkylene glycol chain as a constituent monomer.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】カチオン系アスファルト乳剤に対して添加することで、施工後のアスファルト付着を抑制可能な、カチオン系アスファルト乳剤用添加剤の提供。【解決手段】カチオン系アスファルト乳剤用添加剤は、コア層と、該コア層の外側に位置するシェル層を含む重合体粒子を含む。前記コア層は、ゴムを含む。前記シェル層は、ガラス転移温度が－２５℃以上である非架橋の重合体から形成される。前記非架橋の重合体は、構成単量体として、メタクリル酸アルキルエステル、及び／又は、芳香族ビニル系単量体を含んでもよい。前記非架橋の重合体を構成する単量体全体のうち、メタクリル酸アルキルエステル及び芳香族ビニル系単量体の合計量が、３０重量％以上であってもよい。前記非架橋の重合体は、構成単量体として、（ポリ）アルキレングリコール鎖を有する（メタ）アクリル系単量体を含んでもよい。【選択図】なし
