POLISHING DEVICE FOR SLOTTED RAIL
To provide a polishing device capable of reliably polishing wavy abrasion, rast and the like of a head part surface of slotted rails for streetcars, even when irregularities like the wavy abrasion are on the head part surface.SOLUTION: A polishing device has: a vehicle body 11 having front wheels 11b2 and rear wheels 11c2 traveling along slotted rails R with prescribed spaces in the longitudinal direction of the slotted rails Rs; a polishing mechanism part 1212 provided on the vehicle body 11, for taking off rast at the slotted rails R; and two rows of constant vehicle height keeping parts 13 continuously provided between the front wheels 11b2 and the rear wheels 11c2 of the vehicle body 11, with an interval shorter than a cycle of the wavy abrasion occurring to the slotted rails R, traveling on the slotted rails R and having multiple small diameter rollers 13a, 13b with rotary shafts displaced by radiuses thereof.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
