To provide a residence in which zoning convenient for residents is considered.SOLUTION: A residence H having a floor with an entrance 11 includes: an entrance zone 10 formed with the entrance 11; a living zone 20 formed with rooms 21 and 22 accessible from the entrance 11; and a backyard zone 30 formed with multiple non-rooms 31-34 accessible from the rooms 21 and 22. The entrance zone 10, the living zone 20, and the backyard zone 30 are lined up in a depth direction and are arranged so that the living zone 20 is sandwiched between the entrance zone 10 on one side and the backyard zone 30 on the other side. In the backyard zone 30, the multiple non-rooms 31-34 are arranged side by side along a frontage direction.
