To improve a dielectric characteristic for a multilayer type electronic component containing CSZT as a main component and improve the reliability such as a voltage resistance characteristic or a temperature-capacity characteristic of the multilayer type electronic component containing CSZT as the main component of the dielectric layer.SOLUTION: A multilayer type electronic component in one embodiment of the present invention includes a main body including a dielectric layer and internal electrodes disposed alternately with the dielectric layer therebetween, and an external electrode disposed on the main body. The dielectric layer includes a main component containing calcium (Ca), strontium (Sr), zirconium (Zr), and titanium (Ti), and an accessory component containing manganese (Mn), yttrium (Y), and silicon (Si). The dielectric layer includes a plurality of dielectric crystal grains and a crystal grain boundary disposed between the adjacent dielectric crystal grains.
