To provide an elastic buffer body which can easily cope with changes in impact energy to be absorbed and can be easily manufactured and replaced without the need of manufacturing or replacing the whole body.SOLUTION: An elastic buffer body 1 comprises an elastic member provided between a bridge body 3 and a bridge abutment 4 and regulates the absorption of impact energy and the amount of displacement of relative movement, wherein the elastic buffer body 1 comprises two side buffer members 10 having a base end part attached to one of the bridge body 3 and the bridge abutment 4, inclined inward, and having a tip end as a pressure receiving part of the other, an internal buffer member 20 that is disposed in a space between the two side buffer members 10, has a base end part detachably attached to one of the side buffer members 10, and has a tip end part serving as a pressure receiving part of the other of the side buffer members 10, and a flat plate member 30 for detachably connecting the two pressure receiving parts and the one pressure receiving part, wherein the internal buffer member 20 is adjusted by the impact energy absorbed by the elastic buffer body 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
