MANUFACTURING METHOD OF SIC TUBE AND CRUCIBLE USING SI IMPREGNATION
The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a tube and a crucible-shaped SiC product by using Si impregnation and, more specifically, to a method for manufacturing a tube and a crucible-shaped SiC product by using Si impregnation, capable of manufacturing a product, of which an inner wall is smooth, without a post processing operation when manufacturing a SiC product using differences in temperature and pressure between the outer surface and the inner side of a tube by injecting insoluble gas such as Ar at a cooling step when manufacturing the SiC product. Therefore, according to the present invention as described above, when manufacturing the tube and the crucible-shaped SiC product, the insoluble gas such as Ar is injected to push surplus Si from the inside to the outer surface of the tube by the differences in temperature and pressure between the outer surface and the inner side at the cooling step, so prevents production of surplus Si on the inner surface when the tube and the crucible-shaped SiC product are manufactured by using Si impregnation. Thus, the inside of the tube can be used without post processing, and the product has little dimensional changes such as shrinkage, expansion and the like as cooling rapidly occurs after sintering. In addition, the tube and the crucible-shaped SiC product having excellent hardness, abrasion resistance, and heat resistance are provided, thereby being able to cut production costs and energy costs.
