A desirable embodiment of the present invention provides a lintel type vibration control apparatus using a buckling restrained shape steel as a damping element, which comprises: the damping element; and settlement members configured at both ends of the damping element respectively, wherein the damping element is used with the shape steel such that structural shape steel is used as the damping element of a vibration control damper to ensure a property thereof, thereby showing resistance performance even in an out-of-plane direction as well as an in-plane direction to properly cope with seismic load in multiple directions while ensuring economic feasibility.
본 발명의 비좌굴 형강을 댐핑요소로 활용한 인방형 제진장치의 바람직한 일 실시예는 댐핑요소와 댐핑요소의 양단부에 각각 구성되는 정착부재로 이루어지는 인방형 제진장치에 있어서, 댐핑요소는 형강으로 사용하도록 하여, 인방형 제진장치의 특성을 확보할 수 있는 구조용 형강을 제진댐퍼의 댐핑요소로 활용함으로써 경제성을 확보하면서 면내 방향뿐만 아니라 면외 방향까지도 저항성능을 발휘하도록 하여 다중 방향의 지진하중에 적절히 대응할 수 있도록 하는 매우 유용한 효과가 있다.
