The present invention provides a suspension bridge having a multilayer structure, and a construction method thereof. The suspension bridge comprises: first and second abutments (11, 16) which are installed on the ground while having first and second passages (12, 17) formed in respective central parts of lower sides thereof, and first and second fixing structures (13, 18) of which respective lower surface portions thereof are coupled to upper surface portions of the first and second abutments (11, 16); first, second, fifth, and sixth support wires (21, 22, 25, 26) of which respective end portions are fixed and coupled to front and lower surface portions of upper portions of the first abutment (11), and the respective other portions are fixed and coupled to front and lower surface portions of upper portions of the second abutment (16), and third and fourth support wires (23, 24) of which respective end portions are fixed and coupled to upper end portions of the first and second fixing structures (13, 18), and the respective other end portions extending are fixed and coupled to upper end portions of the second and first fixing structures (18, 13); a central movable structure (31) of which both lower surface portions are fixed and coupled to the first and second support wires (21, 22), an upper movable structure (32) of which a lower surface portion is fixed and coupled to the first movable structure (31), and an upper side portion is fixed and coupled to the third and fourth support wires (23, 24), and a lower movable structure (33) of which an upper side portion is fixed and coupled to the central movable structure (31), and both lower surface portions are fixed and coupled to the fifth and sixth support wires (25, 26); and a first deck (42) installed along an upper surface portion of the first support (41), and a second deck (47) installed along an upper surface portion of the second support (46).
