The invention relates to a system for protecting the area of ablation of a glaciar and to the associated method of installation. Said system comprises: at least a plurality of modular units, each one consisting of a folded mesh; at least one geotextile arranged over the respective modular unit with a portion that projects from the surface of the modular unit and is connected to each modular unit by means of mechanical connectors; and a plurality of anchoring means for anchoring the geotextile and each modular unit to the surface.
La presente invención describe un sistema de protección sobre la zona de ablación de un glaciar y el procedimiento de instalación asociado. El sistema comprende al menos una pluralidad de unidades modulares, cada una compuesta por una malla plegada; al menos un geotextil colocado sobre la respectiva unidad modular con una porción que sobresale de la superficie de la unidad modular y unida a cada unidad modular mediante conectores mecánicos, y una pluralidad de medios de anclaje, para anclar el geotextil y la cada unidad modular a la superficie.

Le système comprend au moins une pluralité d'unités modulaires, chacune étant composée d'une maille pliée; au moins un géotextile disposé sur l'unité modulaire respective avec une partie qui ressort en saillie de la surface de l'unité modulaire et est reliée à chaque unité modulaire au moyen de raccords mécaniques, et une pluralité de moyens d'ancrage pour ancrer le géotextile et chaque unité modulaire à la surface.
