In some embodiments, a mobile robot unit for engaging a wheel of parked target vehicle is provided, the mobile robot unit comprising: a frame adjustable from a first configuration to a second configuration and vice versa, wherein in the second configuration the frame engages the vehicle wheel to apply a sufficient counterforce onto the vehicle wheel to lift the vehicle wheel and the vehicle weight supported by the vehicle wheel from the ground; and at least two wheel assemblies supporting the frame above the ground, each wheel assembly comprising at least one steerable wheel, the steerable wheel contacting the ground.
Dans certains modes de réalisation, l'invention concerne une unité de robot mobile destinée à venir en prise avec une roue de véhicule cible stationné, l'unité de robot mobile comprenant : un bâti réglable d'une première configuration à une seconde configuration et vice versa, dans la seconde configuration, le bâti vient en prise avec la roue de véhicule pour appliquer une force antagoniste suffisante sur la roue de véhicule afin de soulever la roue de véhicule et le poids de véhicule supporté par la roue de véhicule du sol ; et au moins deux ensembles roues supportant le bâti au-dessus du sol, chaque ensemble roue comprenant au moins une roue orientable, la roue orientable étant en contact avec le sol.
