PELLET
The invention relates to a process for producing a pellet and a pellet obtainable by said process. The process comprising (i) providing particulate material selected from a carbonaceous material, metal, metal ore, and mixtures thereof; and an inorganic binder comprising a metal silicate, to form a mixture; (ii) compressing the mixture to form a pellet; and (iii) curing the pellet by contacting the pellet with gaseous carbon dioxide. A pellet comprising a particulate material selected from a carbonaceous material, metal, metal ore, and mixtures thereof; silica; and a metal carbonate is also described.
L'invention concerne un procédé de production d'une pastille et une pastille pouvant être obtenue selon ledit procédé. Le procédé comprend (i) la fourniture d'un matériau particulaire choisi parmi un matériau carboné, un métal, un minerai métallique et des mélanges de ceux-ci ; et un liant inorganique comprenant un silicate métallique, pour former un mélange ; (ii) la compression du mélange pour former une pastille ; et (iii) le durcissement de la pastille par mise en contact de la pastille avec du dioxyde de carbone gazeux. L'invention concerne également une pastille comprenant un matériau particulaire choisi parmi un matériau carboné, un métal, un minerai métallique et des mélanges de ceux-ci ; de la silice ; et un carbonate métallique.
