Investigation of Feasible Pavement Design Alternatives for WISDOT
The report has been prepared based on research findings for Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Research Project 94-13, 'Investigation of Feasible Design Alternatives for WisDOT.' The primary focus of this project is to provide performance data necessary for conducting rational, objective, and justifiable life cycle costs analyses for thick asphalt concrete (AC) pavements (AC thickness > 150 mm) and thin portland cement concrete (PCC) pavements (PCC thickness < 225 mm). A secondary objective is to summarize the design and selection procedures utilized by surrounding States.
