The report is one part of a three-part study on urban housing construction currently being conducted by a university in Missouri. The principal purpose of two parts of the study is to develop the general concepts and performance specifications for factory-built housing in Missouri. Utilities, roads, and foundation requirements are also studied in detail. Since financing is often the crucial element in a successful building project, this third part of the report is considered equal in importance to the other two parts of the study and is concerned with all of the problems relating to the costs and financial aspects of housing.
