Subsurface Investigation, Section J001b, Springfield Route
Results are presented herein of 10 borings made along the line of Section J001b, Springfield Route, in the valley of Cameron Run, City of Alexandria, Virginia. This work was done to investigate a planned embankment for a new Test Track Facility. The report contains a continuous geological section along the centerline of track through the test borings, logs of these borings, results of laboratory tests on soil samples and conclusions regarding anticipated design and construction problems.
