A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
The basic partial differential equations for unsteady flow are adapted to a standard analog computer. Two waterhammer examples are computed and compared to both experimental and precise analytical results. The analog solution is shown to be accurate. Solution of waterhammer problems on the analog computer provides a design tool of great value.
