By utilizing the modified Alternative 2 plan with the retaining wall option, the Selected Alternative will require less right-of-way acquisition, reduce the impact on natural vegetation, and avoid the impact on the wetlands and estuary. The Selected Alternative is consistent with the comprehensive plans for the City of Gold Beach and Curry County.
