Raseinių rajono aplinkos monitoringo sistemos tobulinimas ; Perfection of Raseiniai district environmental monitoring system
Raseiniai district environmental monitoring program is arranged for six years, for separate parts of environment. The scheme is arranged for these components: air, surface and underground water, soil and noise. When arranging this program all material about environmental condition was analyzed. The net of monitoring stations is being made while identifying the anthropogenic effect places and its possible impact on condition of environment components. The metrical pollution and measurement methods are pointed out. There is no information about soil pollution with heavy metals in urbanized and industrial territories in Raseiniai district. The possible effect of the previously located military rocket base on the soil quality in the Bedančiai countryside and radiation level in this territory has not been measured yet. The scope of biotic and landscape investigations being done are wide enough, therefore additional investigations or municipality‑monitored investigations in this program are not necessary. The measurement of level of noise was not made; therefore the monitoring of level of noise systematically induced by traffic and railways is necessary. The investigations into air and water pollution are being carried out, but their extent is insufficient.
