Master's Degree thesis is - the investigation and assessment of the situation, analyze the land reform designed private land subsequent conversion work and the need for the structure of the Jonava region. Jonava district conversion work over the 2008-2009 mainly been carried out in suburban areas Užusalių neighborhood. Under the land reform means Jonava region largely dominated by the division of land and the main target of land-use changes. The research examined 39 private land development and conversion projects developed in 2008-2009, Jonava district. Formed plots revealed that the amount of land is determined not only to natural causes, but also legally possible return or otherwise to privatize land. Jonava District 2010 04 01 12 504 has been legally registered private agricultural land plots (average lot size - 2.8 hectares) and 3,233 private forest land plots (average lot size - 3.6 hectares). That is less than the average of the republic (the average parcel size of 2.9 ha and 3.8 ha). These land owners request the conversion even more reduce the amount of arable land. In the conditions impairing productive agricultural techniques work, in addition to increased costs for access roads and management.
