Technique of coating process; with reference to article by W. AVENHAUS, indexed from June 4 1936, issue of same journal, under heading of Ceramic Materials -- Admixtures, it is claimed that grayish discoloration occurring in burned bricks cannot be eliminated by barium carbonate treatment of clay, but new German process consisting in coating clay column with film of resinous material is effective in overcoming this defect.
