Nondestructive gamma-spectrometry of serpentinite cores from Mayaguez, Puerto Rico
Four pieces of serpentinite were analyzed from depths of 146.3, to 149.3, 154.2, and 303.2 m; data recorded using Riceγ-spectrometer, absorption flame photometer, and Argonne γ-spectrometer indicate contents of thorium, uranium, and potassium.
