Weather resistance of porcelain enamels exposed for seven years
Study using architectural panels, begun at National Bureau of Standards in 1939, involved 864 one-ft sq panels and equal number of 4 × 6-in. laboratory specimens; previous report gave results after 1 yr of exposure (see Engineering Index 1942 p 398); condition of panels after 7 yr of weathering in Washington, DC, St Louis, Mo, Lakeland, Fla, and Atlantic City, NJ. (see also Am Cer Soc -- J v 32 n 1 Jan 1 1949 p 15-25)
