Reinforced concrete pier piles
Piles driven in gravel fill for Canadian Pacific Railway Co.'s B.C. Pier at Vancouver; plant for precasting piles; gravel fill is 105 ft. wide at top, with sides sloping down at 1 in 2.5; experimental work done in use of water jets to assist penetration of pile, both external and internal jets being tried; internal jets greatly superior to external ones in both ease of manipulation and effect.
