Pier is single-decked timber structure, 642 ft. 6 in. long, with width for greater part of its length of 30 ft.; simple braced structure supported on 166 single piles and two double piles; horizontal transverse braces renewed in galvanized steel; weakened portion of piles strengthened with reinforced-concrete casing.
