In reconstruction of drydock destroyed by Russians during war, in place of old sliding gate a steel floating gate was built, 28 m. wide at bottom and 30 m. wide at top, 10.96 m. high in center and 11. 71 m. on sides, with submerging depth of 10.46 m. It is sunk by pumping in and lifted by pumping out ballast water. Weight, 240 tons.
