New switchboard building of Canadian General Electric Co., Peterborough, Ont., is first building in Canada of any appreciable size to be completely fabricated and erected by electric arc-welding method; building has floor area of 72,000 sq. ft.; only three weeks were required from erection of first column till completion of work.
