Ultimate load carrying capacity of P.C. Columns under direct and eccentric loading
General theoretical inelastic analysis is developed to determine ultimate load carrying capacity of pin-ended prestressed concrete columns, under short term loading, which includes effects of slenderness, magnitude and position of prestress and eccentricity of loading; compared experimental and calculated ultimate conditions cover wide range of lengths, cross sections and concrete strengths with eccentricities of loading from zero to infinity for both prestressed and nonprestressed sections.
