Practical examples are given which demonstrate use of macro-, micro-, and meta-rheological methods of analysis in concrete technology; cracking of plain concrete due to temperature variations and shrinkage, stress relaxation in concrete and steel, and stress losses in prestressing steel due to creep and shrinkage of concrete as well as creep of steel; determination of deformation properties of aggregate and cement paste; fire resistance of prestressed concrete, chemical methods of influencing rheological properties of materials, and methods of measuring workability of concrete are discussed.
